WMNF’s January mission focus is on people experiencing homelessness and hunger — and this Saturday, we’re creating space to listen, reflect, and connect.
Join us on Saturday, January 24 at 2 PM at the WMNF studios for Living Mirror presents: No Longer Invisible — Illuminating Homelessness and Hunger.
Whether you’ve experienced homelessness or hunger firsthand, or you’re actively working to support those in need, we want to hear your stories. The Living Mirror ensemble will then play them back, improvising on the spot — transforming lived experience into music, movement, and shared understanding.
This is a powerful, interactive opportunity for community connection, empathy, and visibility.
We invite community activists and interested listeners to come and share their thoughts and experiences. Then, Living Mirror will “playback” those stories using improvisational techniques. It will be a compelling evening of community sharing and theater – and these shows are free – but space in our studio is limited, so please reserve your seat below and come to the West side entrance no later than 1:50pm.
*Each month a different subject will be explored, if you can join us for our monthly Community Storytelling and Improv Show. Limited seats available. (* There may be holidays, events, or other reasons why the date will shift, so please stay tuned).
