TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A live concert is taking on a whole new dimension this week at the Challenger Learning Center.
Jacksonville-based space rock band Skyview is bringing its immersive, full-dome concert experience to the Fogg Planetarium for two nights only, January 16 and 17. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 8:30 p.m.
Designed specifically for planetariums, Skyview’s shows blend original, space-themed rock music with sweeping 360-degree visuals that fill the dome from floor to ceiling. The result is a high-energy, full-sensory journey through the history and wonder of space exploration.
Audience members can expect synchronized dome visuals, laser effects, live music, and storytelling inspired by real missions and astronauts. Each one-hour performance is custom-built for the planetarium setting, surrounding guests with sound, color, and motion.
The show is family-friendly and suitable for people of all ages!
