Fan-favorite trop rock entertainer Brent Burns brings his music and humor to the historic Tarpon Lodge at 13771 Waterfront Drive, Bokeelia on Friday, Jan. 16, at 5 p.m., for a special concert benefiting the Beacon of Hope’s Direct Assistance Program, which helps Pine Island residents when they need it most.
Burns is a Gulf Coast favorite, known for his upbeat, beach-inspired sound and crowd-pleasing performances. Based in Gulf Shores since the early 1970s, he is the Official Music Ambassador of the Alabama Gulf Coast and a multi-time Trop Rock Music Award winner.
Tickets for the Beacon of Hope concert are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Presale tickets may be purchased at Centennial Bank Pine Island, the Beacon of Hope Social Service Office and from Cindy Bickford of Pine Island Sound.
Beacon of Hope’s Direct Assistance Program provides short-term financial help to Pine Island residents affected by illness, job loss, natural disasters and other unexpected emergencies. Funds raised through community events like this concert allow the organization to respond quickly and compassionately when neighbors need help the most.
