The Cape Coral Police Department arrested two men following an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven on Andalusia Boulevard. The incident occurred on January 12 when a suspect brandished a handgun, stole cash, and fled the scene.
The Violent Crimes Unit led the investigation, identifying a white Chevrolet Malibu as a vehicle involved in the crime. On January 15, officers executed a search warrant at the vehicle’s residence in Cape Coral.
During a traffic stop, officers arrested Yoise Ernesto Cintra Maymir, who was found with crack cocaine and a gun similar to the one used in the robbery. Clothing matching the suspect’s description was also discovered during the search.
Maymir was charged with robbery with a firearm. Vicente Gonzalez was also arrested and faced the same charge.
