Florida State is looking to add to its 2028 recruiting class, which currently has three-star wide receiver Lamar Garrison committed. They have extended a scholarship offer to Myles Tate, a defensive lineman out of Atlanta, Georgia.
Tate has nine total offers, with FSU being the most high-profile of them all. He also has offers from Wake Forest, California, Mississippi State, and West Virginia. Tate isn’t ranked on any major recruiting sites at the moment.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder played in seven games as a freshman. He racked up 13 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery. He upped his game as a sophomore as he registered 43 tackles, eight tackles for loss, four sacks, two pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries.
Tate hasn’t been on a visit to Tallahassee yet. With him getting an offer, it’s logical to think that will change sometime soon.
