70-year-old Robert Luis Kraft, of Holland, and his brother, 68-year-old Douglas Joseph Kraft, of Columbus, Ohio, were among those killed.

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A Holland man was among three people who were killed in an apparently “random” shooting in Florida.

Osceola County Sheriff Christopher Blackmon said the shooting happened just after noon Saturday in a Florida suburb. Deputies found three people dead in front of a home in Kissimmee.

70-year-old Robert Luis Kraft, of Holland, and his brother, 68-year-old Douglas Joseph Kraft, of Columbus, Ohio, were among those killed. Authorities are waiting to identify the third 68-year-old victim until his family has been identified.

“I’ll say we lost three people, which is sad,” Blackmon said during a media briefing. “It’s cold-blooded. There absolutely was no issue. There was no conflict between these people. This was just random.”

29-year-old Ahmad Jihad Bojeh has been arrested in connection to the shooting. He was charged with three counts of first-degree murder and is currently in the Osceola County Jail without bond.

Blackmon said Bojeh has a history with law enforcement. Back in May 2021, Bojeh reportedly fired shots into random vehicles at a Wawa gas station, injuring one person.

“I can tell you he was a threat to that neighborhood all the time,” Blackmon said.

This incident is still under investigation.
