PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — July 27, known as 727 Day in Pinellas County, will be celebrated across the community this weekend.
Visit St. Pete-Clearwater and local partners have teamed up to honor the county and its residents by hosting events, offering over 100 deals and giving away an exclusive, limited-edition T-shirt.

727 Day Events 🎊
727 Day on the Pier — St. Pete Pier
July 27 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Drone Show at 9 p.m.)
Guests of all ages can enjoy an interactive showcase in a waterfront setting where local companies and startups will demo cutting-edge products, gadgets and experiences, including robotics, virtual reality, smart city tools and AI. There will also be an “Epic Drone Show” with over 1,000 synchronized drones that will light up the sky, telling the story of the city of St. Petersburg and celebrating the Pier’s 5-year anniversary. Aerial animations will recreate the Million Dollar Pier and the Inverted Pyramid, leading up to the modern-day St. Pete Pier.
727 Day Run — St. Pete Running Company
July 27 at 7:27 a.m., starting from Craft Kafe on Central Ave.
For runners and walkers of all levels: Choose from 2 miles, 7.27 kilometers or 7.27 miles. Discounted coffee and breakfast are available, along with a $10 gift card to St. Pete Running Company, and HOKA shoe demos.
727 Day Run — Pinellas Run Club
July 27 at 12 p.m., starting at Island Grand at Tradewinds Resort to The Don CeSar
Every pace is welcome: A 5K run or a 1-mile walk are available to choose from at the beach.
THE PINK PALM POOL CLUB Day Party
July 27 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Moxy St. Pete and Sparrow Rooftop
A pool party where guests can enjoy sun, music and $7.27 “Pink Palm-Ritas.”
