Tampa Lights Up Chanukah: 15-Foot Menorah Illuminates City Hall

Community leaders and residents gathered outside Tampa City Hall at sunset on December 14 to celebrate the first night of Chanukah with the lighting of a towering 15-foot menorah. Hosted by Chabad CHAI of South Tampa, the family friendly event featured Mayor Jane Castor, Tampa City Council members, Tampa Fire Rescue, the Tampa Police Department, local officials and community representatives, along with food, festivities and a celebratory gelt drop.
