OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A 29-year-old man was arrested on Sunday in connection with a triple homicide near Kissimmee.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said its deputies were called to the Indian Point subdivision at approximately 12:13 p.m. on Jan. 18 after reports of a shooting. When they arrived at 296 Indian Point Circle, deputies found three men dead in front of the home. All three victims had apparent gunshot wounds.
Authorities quickly identified and detained the suspect, Ahmad Jihad Bojeh. He was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail on three counts of murder.
“There is no threat to the community, as the suspect responsible for these horrific and senseless murders has been apprehended by Osceola County deputies,” Sheriff Christopher Blackmon said.
According to WFTV archival footage referenced by investigators, Bojeh had prior encounters with law enforcement. A 2021 surveillance video showed Bojeh firing a gun at cars in a Wawa parking lot on West Vine Street. Despite witness statements and video evidence from that earlier incident, court records show he was found not guilty by reason of insanity, with a competency hearing scheduled for April.

A 29‑year‑old man was arrested Sunday after authorities say he carried out a triple homicide in the Indian Point subdivision near Kissimmee. Deputies found three vacationing men — Douglas Kraft, Robert Kraft and James Puchon — shot to death in front of a home on Indian Point Circle shortly after noon on Jan. 18. Investigators quickly identified the suspect as Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, who was detained in a neighboring house and charged with three counts of murder. Sheriff Christopher Blackmon described the attack as random, unprovoked, and “cold‑blooded,” noting there had been no conflict between Bojeh and the victims. Records referenced by investigators show Bojeh previously had contact with law enforcement, including a 2021 incident in which he was seen firing at cars, though he was later found not guilty by reason of insanity. Blackmon credited deputies’ fast response for preventing more casualties, saying the quick action kept Bojeh from harming others. The investigation remains ongoing. (WFTV | CNN Newsource)

Sheriff Blackmon said ongoing concerns followed that case.
“I can tell you he was a threat to that neighborhood all the time,” the sheriff said.
Investigators say the shooting claimed the lives of Douglas Kraft, Robert Kraft, and James Puchon, who were renting the home as vacation visitors. Blackmon described the attack as unprovoked.
“We lost three people, which is sad because it’s three tourists that come here to visit our area,” he said. “It’s cold-blooded. It was premeditated. There was absolutely no issues. There was no conflict between these people. This is just random.”

Blackmon credited deputies’ swift response with preventing further bloodshed.

“Because our deputies responded so quick, we actually flushed the guy back into his house and kept him out in public, because had he not been there, there were other people out and about that could have been victims as well.”
The investigation remains active.
