TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – More than two weeks after Jonathan Fabian was found dead in his residence on Mission Road, his family still isn’t sure what happened to their loved one.
Investigators have not said how the 58-year-old died, but a reward of up to $5,000 is now being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
“I want Tallahassee and the world to know that whatever information you have, tell us, give us anything,” said Germaine Dvorak, who is Fabian’s younger sister.
Dvorak and her fraternal twin, Genevieve, had been rebuilding their relationship with their brother.
“We don’t get to have phone calls to him. We don’t get to give phone calls to him. He’s just gone,” Dvorak said.
More Tallahassee news:
Jonathan Fabian, known to his friends as Jon, moved to Tallahassee around 2018, his family said. They described him as a hard-working person who loved to help people. He was a painter and carpenter.
While his sisters are appreciative of the work from the Tallahassee Police Department, they’re hopeful someone will come forward with information that can help.
“Just think about us. This is our brother. This was our last living sibling. We have each other, but people don’t think about stuff like that. We’re so disposable in life, and our family is not disposabl,e and I will fight, and I will figure out who did this to him,” Dvorak said.
For Genevieve, she’s left wondering who would want to harm her brother.
“I can forgive them for what they’ve done, and I do forgive whoever did this. I just want to know why,” she asked.
If anyone has information about the crime, call 850-574-TIPS (8477).
