The No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers and the No. 10 Miami Hurricanes will face off tonight in the College Football Championship.

The Hoosiers are looking to complete their season with an undefeated record and a national title. They earned dominant wins over No. 9 Alabama and No. 5 Oregon in the playoffs to secure their spot in the championship. Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza completed 17 of 20 passes for 177 yards and five touchdowns in their Peach Bowl victory over the Ducks.
The 13-2 Hurricanes will have home-field advantage in tonight’s championship game, as it’s being played at Hard Rock Stadium. This will be the first time they’ve played at home this season since Nov. 15.
They earned their spot in tonight’s championship with three straight upset wins against No. 7 Texas A&M, No. 2 Ohio State and No. 6 Ole Miss in the playoffs. Quarterback Carson Beck threw for 268 yards and had three total touchdowns against the Rebels, including the game-winning touchdown rush with 18 seconds left.
