No class, no problem for Miami quarterback Carson Beck.
Several online accounts claimed that Beck did not shake hands with Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza after the 27-21 loss Monday night, and there was footage of the Miami quarterback quickly bolting to the locker room after his devastating game-sealing interception.
Beck finished with 232 yards, one touchdown and the fourth-quarter interception, as Indiana won with its defense and one herculean touchdown run from Mendoza.

Beck threw an interception in the final minute in Indiana territory to end the Hurricanes’ season.
After the interception, the Indiana celebration started, with just two last kneel downs needed to end the game. Indiana coach Curt Cignetti was showered with blue Gatorade as the final seconds ticked down.
When the final whistle went off, Beck was seen running off into the locker room.
Beck is projected to have made north of $3 million while at Miami this season as a sixth-year redshirt senion, and told reporters he’s not been attending classes since graduating from college in 2023.
Beck and his then-girlfriend Hanna Cavinder had their cars stolen last February, with Beck losing a Lamborghini and Mercedes in the thievery.
“This year at Miami was the best of my life,” Beck said after his team fell short of its ultimate goal of a national title.

While Beck has come under fire, Miami running back Mark Fletcher Jr. ran over to Mendoza and shook his hand while Beck kept his helmet on and exited the field.
“For it to end like that is hard. It’s really tough, but again, a group that has faced so much adversity, to have that opportunity to win at the end says a lot about this team and about us,” Beck said.
Beck now heads into preparation for the NFL Draft, where he is ranked by ESPN’s Mel Kiper as the No. 5 quarterback, behind Penn State’s Drew Allar, Ole Miss’ Trinidad Chambliss, Alabama’s Ty Simpson and Mendoza.
