Pinellas Park Fire Rescue said stored chemicals caused the fire inside the building.
PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — Pinellas Park firefighters responded to a business fire, prompting a hazmat response.
City officials said crews responded around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday to the area of 70th Avenue.
Investigators said the fire was caused by stored chemical materials inside the building, which led to hazmat crews joining the scene.
Crews were able to put out the fire, but remained on scene through mid-afternoon as a precaution.Â
There is no reported threat to air quality and no evacuations were necessary.
