On Dec. 19, volunteers assisted the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge on a mangrove island restoration in the Matlacha Pass. It thanked partners America’s Boating Club of Sanibel-Captiva, Coastal Watch, Mang and the Pine Island Redfish for helping to make it happen.
