The city of Hialeah cracking down on companies doing business with Cuba’s dictatorship through a task force created by Mayor Bryan Calvo the day he took office. Calvo says the Cuban Business Advisory Task Force has found two hundred and ninety companies that import, export or otherwise have a relationship with Cuba. The businesses will have a chance to explain their status. Companies found supporting the dictatorship will have their licenses revoked or suspended. Hialeah is home to the largest number of Cubans living in the United States. A similar push will be announced Thursday in Miami-Dade County.
