The Beaches Branch Library will be closed for around two weeks for HVAC replacement. Here’s what to know.

NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. — The Jacksonville Public Library’s only branch in the beaches area will be closed for approximately two weeks beginning on Monday, Oct. 27.

The Beaches Branch will undergo HVAC replacement during the closure, the library announced. It’s expected to reopen in mid-November.

During the maintenance, the book drop will be closed and all items on hold or requested for pickup will instead be routed to the next closest library location: Pablo Creek Regional on Beach Boulevard.

Customers can have their holds moved to any other Jacksonville Public Library location by putting in a request online, in the app, or by calling 904-255-2665.

To see all 20 other locations and their hours, visit the library’s website.

E-books, audiobooks, movies and other content can still be accessed online through the Digital Library service.
