A coastal Florida city with miles of beaches was named the cheapest place to fly in 2026—and now is the time to look into a last-minute winter getaway.

The Dollar Flight Club says you can fly to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for an average ticket price of $95, and suggests that late January and September are the best times to visit. Fort Lauderdale offers a burgeoning food scene, several museums, 24 miles of beachfront, and gondola rides on the canals.

If Fort Lauderdale isn’t what you’re looking for, the Dollar Flight Club put both of Orlando’s airports on their list of the top 15 least expensive places to fly, with average prices hovering around $100. Pensacola and Miami also popped up on the list, along with Southern cities in a few other states. Take a look at the 2026 ticket prices for these vacation destinations:

No. 1: Fort Lauderdale (FLL) for ~$95, visit in late January or September

No. 5: Dallas, Texas (DFW & DAL) for ~$129, visit in late January–February or late August

No. 11: Miami, Florida (MIA) for ~$115, visit in late January–March or September

No. 12: Orlando Sanford, Florida (SFB) for ~$95, visit in early May or mid-September
