Anthony Becht is putting in work with the Orlando Storm. On Wednesday, the team signed RB Elijah Dotson and DT Fabien Lovett, bringing depth both offensively and defensively to an organization that already has a lot of it.
RB Elijah Dotson
Elijah Dotson is an exciting addition to this backfield, one that already features the likes of Jashaun Corbin – the former San Antonio Brahmas star. Dotson played his college football primarily at Sac State, before transferring to Northern Colorado for his senior season.
Throughout his collegiate career, Elijah racked up 3,395 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns. He also was an impact player coming out of the backfield, with over 1,400 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns. Despite his smaller size (5’9”), Elijah runs a 4.53 40 yard dash – which earned him an UDFA opportunity with the Chargers.
Dotson has spent the last couple of years in and out of the NFL. Most recently, he was with the Falcons in early 2025, signing a futures deal but later being released.

Orlando football fans will recognize Fabien Lovett. He’s a former Florida State product, a standout with the Seminoles from 2020-2023.
Lovett began his career at Mississippi State, playing in 2019 where he racked up 19 tackles and a sack. In 2020, he made the move to FSU, and didn’t look back. As a Seminole, Fabien totaled 74 tackles, 12 TFL’s, five sacks, four PBU’s, and a forced fumble.
Over the past two years, Fabien has had a couple of NFL opportunities, similar to Dotson. He was signed by the Chiefs as an UDFA, and was most recently on the Patriots practice squad. Lovett is an excellent pickup defensively by Anthony Becht, and we should expect someone of his caliber to have a legitimate chance at making this Storm roster.
