Cape Coral approved a $2.73 million incentive for Bones Coffee Company. The deal supports expansion at 2621 SW Pine Island Road and brings 130 jobs paying 40% above what most workers earn in town.
Bones Coffee will merge its national headquarters, production lines, shipping operations, and office staff at this Southwest Florida site. Investment jumped to $27.3 million from an earlier $25.8 million.
The growth earned Cape Coral’s Office of Economic and Business Development a 2025 Business Facilities Impact Award. Business Facilities announced the win on Jan. 20. The publication has covered corporate site selection and economic development for over 50 years, focusing on the beverage manufacturing and distribution category for this honor.
“This award underscores our ongoing commitment to helping local businesses not only stay in Cape Coral but thrive here,” said Sharon Woodberry, Economic and Business Development Manager, per the Cape Coral, Florida, website. “Bones Coffee’s success story shows what’s possible when the city and local entrepreneurs work together to build lasting economic momentum.”
Business Facilities grants Deal of the Year and Impact Awards to companies whose moves or expansions bring major benefits to communities. Judges evaluate investment size, jobs created, fresh ideas, and lasting economic gains.
The award shines a light on how Cape Coral keeps businesses growing. City leaders want to help companies already here succeed and get bigger.
Cape Coral’s Office of Economic and Business Development strengthens the local economy. Staff run programs that bring in new companies, keep existing ones, and help them grow. They aim to build a lasting economic foundation.
Bones Coffee has become one of Southwest Florida’s best-known names in its field. The move puts headquarters, production, warehousing, and administrative teams under one roof on Pine Island Road.
