Coen in his first season with the franchise led the Jaguars to a 13-4 record and the AFC South title in 2025 one season after they finished 4-13. He became the first rookie head coach in NFL history to win 12-plus games after taking over a team with four or fewer victories the season prior.
Lawrence, after missing seven games in 2024 and undergoing offseason shoulder surgery, finished third in the NFL in total touchdowns (38), fifth in passing touchdowns (30), sixth in passing yards (4,007) and tied second in rushing touchdowns (9) among NFL quarterbacks this season. His 38 total touchdowns were a single-season franchise record.
