For the 12th time in the past 13 years, the Florida State softball team has been picked to win the ACC by the conference’s coaches. The Seminoles also dominated the Preseason All-ACC team, having five players make the list. They were the only school with more than three selections.

FSU went 49-12 last year, winning its 18th ACC Regular Season Championship after going 18-3 in conference play. Their season came to a close in the Super Regional round in 2025, and they are hoping to return to the Women’s College World Series thanks to their returning core and promising freshman class.

Shortstop Isa Torres and third baseman Jaysoni Beachum are both back for their junior season and made the Preseason All-ACC Team. They were joined by outfielder Kennedy Harp, who is recovering from a knee injury but expected to be a key piece of the offense when cleared to return.

The trio combined to hit .384 with 19 home runs, 139 RBI, 31 doubles, draw 50 walks, and score 51 runs last season. Torres has made multiple Preseason All-American teams, and all three are contenders to be among the best players in the sport.

Jazzy Francik and Ashtyn Danley give the Seminoles two of the three pitchers on the Preseason All-ACC team. The duo finished 1st and 2nd in the ACC in ERA last year, respectively. They are both looking to build on their breakout performances and are arguably the best pitching duo in the country.
