BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — A Broward Sheriff’s Office detention deputy was arrested Thursday on a pair of felony charges, authorities confirmed Friday.

Jail records show Michael Cammallere, 28, was arrested on charges of introducing contraband into a detention facility and public servant obstructing or delaying felony information.

He was no longer listed in the Broward inmate database as of Friday morning.

Cammallere’s LinkedIn profile lists him as a law enforcement officer with BSO since October 2023.

Local 10 News has requested his arrest report.

No other details about his arrest were immediately released.
