Delta Air Lines plans to relocate and expand its Delta Sky Club at Tampa International Airport in 2028 as part of a major expansion and renovation tied to the airport’s new Airside D.
What is changing at TPA
The Sky Club will move to the new Airside D and receive a major expansion and renovation. The project is scheduled for 2028.
Delta did not release renderings for the Tampa Sky Club.
A broader lounge push
The Tampa project is part of a larger Delta announcement outlining continued investment in its Sky Club network following the airline’s Centennial year.

Delta said the plan includes new Clubs and expanded seating across several U.S. markets.
Other projects announced
Delta said it will relocate and fully renovate its Delta Sky Club at Jacksonville International Airport in early 2027, expanding the Club to roughly 10,000 square feet.
The airline also said it plans to open its first-ever Delta Sky Club at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas by 2029.

Recent upgrades as a preview
Delta pointed to recent lounge upgrades as examples of how it is expanding capacity and reworking layouts.
At Philadelphia International Airport, Delta said the Sky Club doubled seating capacity from about 70 to more than 140 guests following an extensive renovation.
The redesign includes updated furniture, new regionally inspired artwork, updated restrooms and an expanded buffet designed to improve flow.

At Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Delta said it renovated three Sky Clubs across Concourses A and C.
The upgrades added seating, refreshed and expanded food and beverage areas, streamlined entry and locally inspired art.
Delta said the changes increased seating capacity across those locations by about 15%.

Delta’s approach
Delta said the investments follow its Centennial year which included new Clubs at Atlanta and Salt Lake City a dual Delta Sky Club and Delta One Lounge in Seattle and an expanded Club in Orlando.
The airline said airport lounges remain central to its premium philosophy.
