CAPE CORAL, Fla.—The Cape Coral Police Department’s Narcotics Unit launched an investigation into street-level drug transactions within Cape Coral. On Thursday, the SWAT team executed a search warrant at 1508 Southwest 28th Terrace.

Michael Patrick Hennessey and Heather Marie Hennessey were at the residence. Michael, with outstanding narcotics-related charges, was arrested without incident. Detectives found various controlled substances, confirming Michael sold marijuana, fentanyl, pills, meth, and crack cocaine.

Michael Hennessey faced multiple charges, including trafficking methamphetamine and possession with intent to sell various drugs. Heather Hennessey was charged with possession of fentanyl.

Detectives observed Kristian Araujo Ferreira Da Silva leaving the residence before the warrant execution. He recklessly fled from a 7-Eleven, nearly hitting a police K-9 vehicle and a bystander. The car was later found abandoned with cocaine inside.

Da Silva was arrested and charged with several offenses, including fleeing law enforcement and possession of cocaine.

The Cape Coral Police Department emphasized its commitment to fighting illegal narcotics to protect the community.
