FORT MYERS, Fla.—The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating several brush fires set in the Fort Myers area.
Law enforcement responded to the scene located near Old Gladiolus Drive and S Tamiami Trail at around 1 p.m. on Friday.
Deputies confirmed to WINK News that an investigation is underway and a person is in custody.
The South Trail Fire & Rescue District responded to the brush fires, saying that all fires have been extinguished and crews are being released from the scene.
The fire marshal and fire investigators along with deputies will continue to investigate.
