TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – A Tampa woman is facing charges after she allegedly shot at two people during an argument, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.
On Jan. 22, Just after 3 a.m. deputies responded to reports of a shooting at a home on East Sligh Avenue.
Deputies say an argument broke out between the suspect, Nicole Dorsey, 30, and two victims.
As the argument escalated, the two victims left the house and got into a vehicle parked in the driveway.
As the victims tried to leave, deputies say Dorsey got a firearm and fired multiple shots at the victims.
No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was not struck by gunfire.
Investigators found a firearm, three spent shell casings and ammunition at the home.
“We have zero tolerance for anyone who uses a firearm to threaten lives or escalate a dispute,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “This kind of violence will be met with immediate action, and those responsible will be held fully accountable under the law.”
