I need you to move your vehicle. He can call me if he needs to talk to me.”Before the swearing-in ceremony for the new Orlando fire chief, WESH 2 News attempted to question Commissioner Rose about the traffic stop, but she declined. Instead, she emailed a statement, saying, “Large-scale events at Camping World Stadium, which can attract over 100,000 attendees, have created challenges for nearby residents attempting to return home. We have heard these concerns, (and) I recently experienced it myself. The city is actively reviewing our event transportation and traffic management strategies.”Rose also shared an email from Christina Moya, Division Manager-Special Events & Traffic Safety in the city’s Transportation Department, explaining that the traffic management team is working on new plans to help residents living near the stadium return home.It remains unclear if Rose violated Florida law or the Code of Ethics, which prohibits public officials from using their office for personal gain or accepting special privileges.
