Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in unincorporated Broward County earlier this week.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify the person or people responsible for the murder of 35-year-old Nathaniel Forrest on Monday.
The fatal shooting occurred around 9:42 p.m. near the 900 block of Northwest 24th Avenue.
According to authorities, deputies responded after receiving a ShotSpotter alert. When they arrived at the scene, they found Forrest with an apparent gunshot wound.

Forrest was transported by Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
