STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — A disabled semi tractor-trailer was struck by a tow truck on the Florida Turnpike in Martin County Friday night, triggering a fiery crash and a significant traffic backup.

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, everyone involved in the crash made it out with minor injuries.

Florida 511, the crash is before mile marker 130 and backed up to mile marker 131. All lanes are closed at this time.

MCSO says southbound lanes on the Florida Turnpike will be shut down for a couple hours. Driver should seek alternative routes.
