Driver dead after colliding into back of truck on Dolphin Expressway – NBC 6 South Florida

A driver who collided into the back of a truck on State Road 836 died on Saturday morning, troopers said.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, there was a crash on the westbound lanes of SR 836, near Northwest 57th Avenue involving a silver Toyota Sedan and a flatbed truck.

The driver of the Sedan was pronounced dead at the scene, while the truck driver was not injured, FHP said.

As troopers continue to investigate, the westbound lanes on SR 836 at 57th Avenue have been closed.
