AT ROTARY PARK. THE RACE STARTED AT 08:00AM. BUT EVEN THOUGH THE RACE IS NOT OVER. THE RIGHT THE RACES OVER THE FUN IS THAT ACTUALLY AND THERE IS A MANY KIDS RIDE THAT IS STARTING. >> RIGHT NOW, IT STARTED 7 MINUTES AGO AT 10, 30 AND CHECK IN HAPPENED EARLIER IN THE MORNING. I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED BECAUSE HE’S FROM A LIKE 4 YEARS OLD AND CAN RIDE A BIKE BETTER THAN I’VE EVER BEEN ABLE TO RIDE A BIKE. THEY WERE THE CUTEST LITTLE THING EVER. A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE CHEERING AND ROOTING THEM ON BUT >> IT JUST MELTED MY HEART THERE OFF. NOW, THOUGH, THEY’RE ON THEIR 3.1 MILE BIKE RIDE AND THEY’RE GOING DOWN THE SAME ROUTE AS THE RUNNERS AND WALKERS GET AROUND 8 O’CLOCK THIS MORNING. THEY’RE GOING ALL THE WAY DOWN TO SOUTHWEST 58. >> STREET ART, HARRIS, MY BAD BY THE TARPON POINT MARINA AND BACK AND AT THE END OF THE FINISH LINE, THEY GOT TO PICK UP THEIR SHIRTS AND THEIR GRAB AND GO LUNCH AND BIKE RIDERS. THE LITTLE KIDS WILL BE ABLE TO DO THE SAME HERE IN THE SECOND. AND TOMORROW WILL BE THE BIKE RIDE FOR THE BIG KIDS AND THE ADULTS. THEIR RIDE WILL TAKE OFF AT AROUND 7.45 RIGHT HERE AT ROTARY PARK TOMORROW MORNING FOR THE 100 MILE BIKE RIDE. AND AT 8 TOMORROW MORNING FOR THE 3RD 30 MILE BIKE RIDE. The 35th annual Tour de Cape continued with a 5K run and a mini kids’ bike ride, offering participants breakfast, T-shirts, and pizza.

The 35th annual Tour de Cape continued its second day with a 5K run and a mini kids’ bike ride, starting at Rotary Park Environmental Center.Participants in the 5K lined up at 8 a.m., running all the way down to SW 58th Terrace near Tarpon Point Marina and back. Upon finishing, runners and walkers received a grab-and-go breakfast and a T-shirt. Shortly after the 5K concluded, the mini kids’ bike ride began at 10:30 a.m., following the same path as the 5K. At the end of the race, children enjoyed pizza and drinks.Tomorrow’s event will focus on biking, with hundreds of cyclists starting their ride at Rotary Park.
