Next Monday Oct. 27, Stevens Construction along with its contractor are scheduled to be working along the right of way in front of 2524 Del Prado Blvd., just south of the Veterans Memorial Parkway overpass.
According to a report from the Lee County Department of Transportation, they will be constructing a new business entrance and installing new traffic loop detection system. This work will require sidewalk closures with pedestrian detours, along with a single travel lane closure heading southbound on Del Prado.
Construction of the entrance will take place during daytime hours. Work on the Loop detection system will be done at night, with double lane closures starting at 9 p.m.
