HAVANA, Fla. (WCTV) – A local church in Havana caught fire early Sunday morning, according to a social post by the Havana Volunteer Fire Department.
“Our hearts are heavy after the loss of one of our local churches at this morning’s early fire call,” the department said in a social post.
The church is called Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, according to multiple reports and is located on Gibson Road in Havana.

The fire department thanked the Concord Volunteer Fire Department, the Midway Fire and Rescue, Quincy Fire Department, Gadsden EMS, GCSO, the State Fire Marshal and others for their assistance in putting out the fire.
