THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) – A man was killed overnight in a hit-and-run in Thomas County on Sunday, according to Thomas County Sheriff Watkins.
At about 1:23 a.m. Sunday, a Thomas County deputy was responding to another call when they found a victim of a hit-and-run at 1100 Hall Road, per the Thomas County Sheriff.
More news out of South Georgia:
Deputies attempted life-saving measures, but the 28-year-old victim died at the scene, per the sheriff.
The sheriff said the victim was wearing dark clothing, had earbuds and “appeared to be skateboarding at the time.”
Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is reportedly investigating the incident.
