Two of the deadliest roads in Florida run through the Treasure Coast, according to iSelect car insurance company.
U.S. 1 and Interstate 95 ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in iSelect’s study that analyzed 16,000 crashes in a five-year period.

U.S. 1 had 589 fatal crashes
Interstate 95 had 490 fatal crashes
U.S. 41 had 447 fatal crashes
Interstate 75 had 371 fatal crashes
U.S. 27 had 349 fatal crashes
Fatal crashes on the Treasure Coast in 2026
There have been eight people killed in six fatal crashes on the Treasure Coast this year.
Four were at intersections with either U.S. 1 or Interstate 95, and two were on Southwest Warfield Boulevard, which Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek called a “death trap.”
