CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX late Monday will attempt to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Florida’s Space Coast.

The launch, scheduled for 11:42 p.m., will send a GPS III-9 satellite into medium-Earth orbit from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The launch window will be open for 15 minutes.

A backup launch opportunity, if needed, is available at 11:38 p.m. Tuesday.
