Travelers are still stranded at TPA on Monday after the airport saw more than 200 flight cancellations on Sunday.
TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa International Airport (TPA) is continuing to see flight delays and cancellations Monday as much of the U.S. feels the ongoing impacts of this weekend’s colossal winter storm.
At one point Sunday morning, authorities said about 213 million people were under some sort of winter weather warning, with hundreds of thousands still without power.
Some 12,000 flights were canceled, and nearly 20,000 were delayed on Sunday across the country as impacts linger into the start of the work week.Â
TPA alone saw more than 200 flight cancellations on Sunday. Dozens of flights have already been canceled Monday morning.Â
