Orlando, FL – Florida law enforcement continues to investigate the disappearance of Jennifer Kesse, who allegedly went missing on January 24, 2006, after leaving her south Orlando condominium and never arriving at work, prompting a search that has spanned two decades.

Kesse was 24 years old when she was last seen leaving her condominium in south Orlando on January 24, 2006.

She failed to show up for work that morning and could not be reached by family or friends, prompting her parents to report her missing.

Two days later, her car, a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu, was found parked about a mile from her home.

Surveillance video from the area showed an unidentified person parking the vehicle and walking away, but the person’s face was obscured by fencing in the foreground of the footage, preventing investigators from making a positive identification.

Despite years of analysis, no suspect has ever been publicly named and no arrests have been made.

In 2022, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement took over the case and began a comprehensive review of evidence, including re-examining forensic material and conducting new interviews.

Investigators have said they are continuing to follow up on tips and potential leads, and have indicated that advances in technology may help reanalyze older evidence.

Kesse’s apartment showed no clear signs of a struggle, but her personal items, including her phone, purse, and keys, were missing.

Authorities maintain that the case remains active and urge anyone with information to come forward, saying even small details could prove critical in finally determining what happened to her.
