TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida A&M volleyball team put forth a determined effort Monday night but came up short against a surging Prairie View A&M squad, falling in straight sets at home. Despite the loss, the Rattlers showcased their competitive spirit and flashes of strong play against a tough Lady Panthers offense.Â
The Rattlers were led by a double-double from Ladonna Trantham, who registered 11 kills and 14 digs on the day. Farah Farooq also added 11 kills to help the attack. On the defensive end, Victoria Santana chipped in for 15 digs to go with five blocks from Farooq.Â
