A man accused of stabbing his mother to death in Cape Coral and leading deputies on a chase in Collier County is facing the death penalty.
According to the Cape Coral Police Department, Devin Johnson, 28, is accused of stabbing his mother, Rosemary, more than 100 times at a home along Jacaranda Parkway in September.
The State Attorney’s Office filed a notice last week that it will seek the death penalty.
