The Lions secondary doesn’t have a single starter from Week 1 that is healthy but the second and third string guys buckled down and shut down one of the best offenses in the league. Mayfield was frustrated all night going for 228 yards on 28/50 passing with 1 TD and 1 INT. 

The Lions improve to 5-2 and win another game after taking a loss the previous week. They haven’t lost 2 in a row since October of 2022. They have the Saints next week and then will have their BYE. The Bucs go into their BYE with a bad taste in their mouth, but they are 5-2 and still have one of the best records in the league. This could have been a preview of a game we will see sometime in January.Â
