On Sunday, February 8, Fort Myers Offshore is offering a CPR course at no cost to its members at the Westin Cape Coral Resort. The course will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. and will be led by Lee County (Fla.) Emergency Medical Services. Instruction will focus on safety, preparedness and “honoring life through education and awareness,” according to an email sent to Fort Myers Offshore members by club president Tim Hill.

The CPR event will follow the nonprofit organization’s Friday, February 6, lunch run and fellowship and gathering and Saturday, February 7, Memorial Flotilla and Luncheon honoring Fort Myers Offshore members, Craig Millet, his wife, Brenna and their friend Rebecca Knight. The beloved trio died during a boating accident in late November.

“The luncheon will include words of remembrance, gratitude and reflection celebrating the lives of Craig, Brenna and Rebecca,” Hill wrote in the email. “The remainder of the afternoon and evening will be open for fellowship, reflection and time together as a community.”

All events that weekend will be staged out of the Westin Cape Coral venue.
