A man was sentenced to four years in prison after he attempted to rob a Taco Bell using a rock, according to the Ocala Police Department.The incident happened in July 2025, when police received reports of an armed robbery at 2380 SW College Road.Upon arriving at the scene, police officers were advised that the suspect entered the Taco Bell through the drive-thru window with no shirt while holding a rock.The suspect, Kewarren Anderson, started demanding money and chased the employees out of the restaurant.Anderson eventually left the Taco Bell and was located by a K-9 unit behind a dumpster near the area.Anderson told police he was homeless and needed some money.He was arrested and sentenced to four years in prison.
