JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — A fire occurred at a McDonald’s restaurant on Western Blvd in Jacksonville.
Sarah Sinese, Jacksonville Police PIO, said at 12:17 p.m. the Jacksonville Fire Department was dispatched to a working structure fire at the McDonald’s located at 404 Western Blvd.
The restaurant was already closed due to other impairments.
No customers were in the building at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported among the limited staff.
The fire was extinguished by 1:10 p.m., and the city said there is moderate structural damage, and the building will remain closed until proper repairs can be made.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
