UCF Student Government announced Monday that “Universal Knights” is scheduled for Feb. 22 in an Instagram post, marking the second year the event will be held in February.

Universal Knights is an annual spring semester event hosted by the Student Government in which Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando Resort is reserved exclusively for students to enjoy for the evening, with this year’s event taking place from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Before 2025, the event was held every April. Prior reporting from The Charge cited scheduling conflicts, including Easter weekend and limited availability from Universal Orlando Resort, as reasons for the earlier date.

The Charge contacted the Student Government Association’s Executive Branch for comment regarding the decision to hold Universal Knights in February again this year, but did not receive a response by the time of publication.

Ticket distribution at Addition Financial Arena will occur on only four dates in 2026, down from five in 2025.

The distribution dates and times include Sunday, Feb. 1 at 9 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 9 a.m., Monday, Feb. 9 at 9 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 9 a.m. As always, ticket distributions are in-person and on a first-come, first-served basis.

UCF Online students and former students are not eligible to attend Universal Knights, as the tickets are funded through Student Activity and Service fees.

Students unable to attend any ticket distribution days can enter a lottery from Feb. 9 to Feb. 13, with UCF SG sharing entry details once the lottery opens.
