UCF students experienced a complete loss or slowed Webcourses services due to an ongoing global outage of Amazon Web Services Monday morning.
UCF notified students of the outage via email, noting that students, faculty and staff may be experiencing disturbances when trying to access Canvas services and integrated applications.
The outage affected online support and services to millions of customers.
The email stated that UCF’s vendor is closely watching the situation and working with AWS to return services to students as quickly as possible.
Webcourses became accessible again Monday evening, but some services remain impacted.
