LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) – Preparations are underway for the Florida Gateway Fair in Lake City.
The fair runs from Friday through November 2.
Admission is $12 dollars, but children under 5 get in for free.

Volunteers from the Police Explorers, Scout Troop 85 and Citizens Police Academy alumni are helping with parking.
According to a statement from the police department, people with those groups will be asking for a $2 donation when visitors park.
