Pensacola International Airport has announced two additional nonstop flights through Breeze Airways.

Beginning May 7, a nonstop flight between Pensacola and Fort Lauderdale will be offered on Thursdays and Sundays.

Beginning June 10, a nonstop flight between Pensacola and San Antonio, Texas will be offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

“We are delighted that Breeze continues their growth at Pensacola adding new nonstop service to our fourth largest market in Fort Lauderdale and an all-new destination in San Antonio,” said Matt Coughlin, executive director of Pensacola International Airport. “This new service supports the growth of area business, tourism and military travel as well as giving Pensacola residents two great markets to travel. This will be Breeze’s sixth and seventh nonstop market at PNS including now three important intra-Florida markets since they started service in June 2024.”

Breeze Airways is a fast-growing budget airline that began service in May 2021 with a focus on providing efficient and affordable flights between secondary airports, bypassing hubs for shorter travel times.

The flights follow on the heels of an announcement less than a week ago that American Airlines will launch a season nonstop flight between Pensacola (PNS) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in New York. The flight will be available June 20 to Sept. 5, 2026.

The flights are available on Saturday only.

Earlier this month, Tennessee-based Contour Airlines announced it was adding a third destination to Pensacola International Airport connecting it with new seasonal nonstop service to Missouri.

The new route between Pensacola and the City of Cape Girardeau Regional Airport (CGI) will run twice weekly, starting May 6, the airline said in a Wednesday, Jan. 6 release.
