LALA karaoke bar owner arrested on child porn charges

Detectives searched Lucas Herraiz’s home and LALA, ultimately seizing two electronic devices from his home.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The owner of LALA St. Pete, a popular restaurant and karaoke bar, was arrested on multiple child pornography charges. 

St. Pete police say a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program led them to arrest 42-year-old Lucas Herraiz.

An investigation revealed that Herraiz had downloaded multiple videos of child sexual abuse material, according to the police department. Detectives searched Herraiz’s home and LALA, ultimately seizing two electronic devices from his home.

Herraiz was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with 18 counts of possession of child pornography. He remains in custody at the Pinellas County Jail.
