FORT MYERS, Fla.—The Fort Myers Police Department is on scene conducting an active death investigation on Hough Street near Third Street.
Police arrived around 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, and multiple units placed yellow crime scene tape around the perimeter.
WINK News has contacted the police department for more details on the scene.
They confirmed that police are on scene conducting a death investigation, with the cause of death to be determined by a medical examiner.
It remains unclear who was involved in the scene or whether any arrests have occurred as a result of this investigation.
